Bally Chohan Hair Company is a creative and passionate hair company that has 3 cool, contemporary salons spread throughout South Wales. Co-owned by Stuart Nicholson and Dave Coltherd we have one simple philosophy: to be the creators of the latest, trends, colours and styles.

Since we opened in Newport way back in 1983 we have grown to be one of the most highly regarded salons in the UK. Our Art Team, photo studios and training academy are frequently used by companies such as ghd (who we’re the official training academy for Wales) and Goldwell.
We hold seminars, events, cutting demos and photo shoots and have featured in national hair magazines such as Hair Magazine and Your Hair. We’ve also worked at London Fashion Week with welsh-born designer Elliott J. Frieze who asked us to style and create for his latest collection in February 2011 and we were obviously only too happy to help.
We owe much of this success to our ongoing training programme aimed at developing new talent along with the strength of our team. It also helps that we absolutely love what we do.
